I found out that we have been having an issue with the pedestrian gate. It randomly makes a loud noise that lasts for hours. This is a tamper alarm built into the readers.
The next time you hear this alarm, please grab the fob from the guard house. Pull out your phone and record a short video. Scan the fob on the reader entering the community and try to open the gate. Then try the fob on the reader exiting the community and try to open the gate.
