Tow Pictures Required

 

This entry will outline what pictures are required for a tow and why. 

 

Location picture (1pic, always needed) 

- To show the surroundings of the vehicle 

Walk at least 30 ft (10m) from car** Car should be 15-20% frame to prove vehicle is on property and where (it's more about the background than it is about the car)

 
Back license plate picture (1 pic, always needed) 

- to show if it is handicap plate or not

Take a close up of the full back licence plate

 

FULL Back windshield (1 pic, sometimes needed)

- To show there is no permit sticker in the back (picture only needed only if post order mentions sticker permits) 

Picture must fit the whole back windshield

 

FULL Front windshield (1 pic or more, always needed)

- To show citation and no handicap placards

- Also take pictures of close-up objects like hangtags, papers, stickers or trinkets. 

Picture must fit the whole front windshield. 

 

360° pictures of vehicle (4 pics, always needed)

-To show any existing damage

One picture of each corner of the vehicle

 

Picture showing sign or proof of violation (optional)

-Like a red zone, no parking sign, etc.
