Here are the steps for doing a Stored Vehicle (SV) Follow Up (FU)

A. Open the PDF sent to you

1. Look at the Office Notes for details of where is the vehicle
   • Example
2. Go to that address and, using the location pictures in the PDF, try to find the vehicle in question

B. If the Vehicle is NOT FOUND

1. Take a location picture showing the vehicle is no longer there
2. Go to InCar software and create a NOTE under the rule "Suspected Stored Vehicle Has Moved" and add the picture
3. Include a note stating the vehicle has moved. 
   • 

 

C. If the Vehicle IS FOUND

1. Check the PDF report Office note and see where the penny was placed (which tire)
   • Example:
2. Go to said tire and see if the penny is still there. 
3. If the penny is NO LONGER THERE:
   1. Take a picture of the tire without the penny.
      • example:
   2. Go to InCar software and create a NOTE under the rule "Suspected Stored Vehicle Has Moved" and add the picture to that report.
   3. Include a note stating the penny is no longer there. 
      • 
4. If the penny IS STILL THERE:
   1. Take pictures of the penny, full tire and location picture.
      • Example
   2. Go to InCar software, create a CITATION under the rule "Parked in Excess # Hours," add the pictures to that citation, and Follow the Post-Orders.

   3. You must leave an Office note restating where the coin is at and the nearest address (probably same as the note in the PDF)
